Remove the 1 of 3 screws from the swith
housing mounting plate and loosen the other 2
screws. (Do not remove)
While holding the light plate under your fan,
connect the white wire connectors from the
light plate and switch housing, follow the same
procedure with the black wire connectors. (Fig.
19)
Carefully push all wires back into the switch
housing. Place the key holes on the light plate
over the 2 screws previously loosened from the
switch housing mounting plate, turn the light
kit assembly until it locks in place at the
narrow section of the key holes. Secure by
tightening the 2 screws previously loosened
and the one previously removed. (Fig. 19)
Install 1 x 13 watts compact fluorescent bulb
(included) into the light sockets. NOTE: CFL
bulbs are NOT dimmable.
Raise glass shade up against light plate and
secure it to fan by twisting glass clockwise
until snug. Do not overtighten. (Fig. 20)

Loosen the 4 screws from the edge of light
plate. (Do not remove) Place the key holes on
the glass frame over the 4 screws previously
loosened from the light plate, turn the glass
frame until it locks in place at the narrow
section of the key holes. Secure by tightening
the 4 screws. (Fig. 20)
Restore power and your light kit is ready for
operation.

CAUTION
BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION, DISCON-
NECT THE POWER BY TURNING OFF THE
CIRCUIT BREAKER OR REMOVING THE FUSE
AT FUSE BOX. TURNING POWER OFF USING
THE FAN SWITCH IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO
PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK.
