Installing the

Light Kit

Install the glass shade assembly to the mount-

ing plate with screws provided. (Fig. 16)

Restore power and your light kit is ready for

operation.

NOTE

LIGHT BULBS HAVE NO WARRANTY; CAN BE

PURCHASED AT ANY HOME DEPOT STORE.

While holding the light plate under your fan,

locate two single white and blue wires in the

switch housing labeled FOR LIGHT. Make the

polarized plug connections:

- White to white

- Blue to black

Carefully push all wires back into the mount-

ing plate, then install the light plate onto the

mounting plate with 3 screws provided. Be

sure to tighten all screws. (Fig. 16)

Install 3 x 40W candelabra bulbs (included).

CAUTION

BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION, DISCON-

NECT THE POWER BY TURNING OFF THE

CIRCUIT BREAKER OR REMOVING THE FUSE

AT FUSE BOX. TURNING POWER OFF USING

THE FAN SWITCH IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO

PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK.
